Introducing
QuickFilter 1.0
Welcome to FilResearch Quick Filter Design
Software for Windows - QuickFilter. QuickFilter is an interactive
software package for commonly used distributed filter design.
QuickFilter combines the knowledge of the software engineering,
component engineering and system engineering into one most powerful
integrated package. It seamlessly bridges the gap between the microwave
filter design engineering and the electromagnetic simulation software.
It is designed to meet your today and also tomorrow’s needs for passive
microwave filter design. For a quick tour of QuickFilter features,
please see Overview of Features.
Filters of Microstrip, Stripline, Coaxial
and Waveguide types can be directly synthesized and designed by
QuickFilter. Frequency response, dimension and layout of the designed
filter can be provided at the same time. Lowpass, highpass, bandpass or
bandstop filter without transmission zero can be designed.
Discontinuities including open end, bend, impedance steps and
T-junctions are included in the frequency response computation. Design
optimization of the QuickFilter can further improve the design and
correct the dimensions of the designed filter.
QuickFilter 1.0 has an improved GUI
interface with tabbed filter design pages of requirement, pole-zero,
optimization, and filter status tree view and status tab windows.
Starting from requirement page, QuickFilter allows you entering all the
main filter characteristics and specifications at once and contains in
the requirement window tab. You can go back to requirement tab later to
review or revise the requirements.
Pole-Zero Window allows obtaining and
adjusting the frequency responses of the designed filter before knowing
the design parameters of the filter. The effects of the unloaded Q of
the resonators can be included in the pole-zero response so that design
engineers don’t need to go back and forth between pole-zero and
optimization stages to worry that insertion loss or gain flatness
specification is not meet.
The physical parameters of the designed
filter can be obtained automatically at Optimization Window. The
dimension of the filter can be further optimized to match the saved
frequency responses.
Filter Layout can be displayed at the
Pole-Zero stage or Optimization stage.
Many
features are available in QuickFilter for microwave filter design and
analysis to help your design more accurate, quicker and easier.
